Great
Ways to read and organize RSS News Feeds: 1.
Using your Web Browser:
Free services like Bloglines are
convenient and easy to use
 2.
Using a dedicated RSS Reader:
Much like an email client, this is a
standalone program.
A free RSS Reader for Windows that we like is Feedreader -
see:
www.feedreader.com
3.
Also,
many newer programs like the Mozilla
Firefox brower or the Mozilla
Thunderbird email
client now have RSS reading
capabilities built-in. Using the Mozilla Thunderbird email client:
While Firefox uses "Live Bookmarks", Thunderbird lets you view RSS content
quite similar
to reading email. First you need to create an RSS account - help on that can be found
here.
Then you simply add our RSS feeds using the "Add" button. Before clicking
"Add", copy the
respective URL that end on ".rdf" to the clipboard, then paste them into the dialog box that
open with "Add". It's easier than it sounds :-)
As mentioned, Firefox uses "Live
Bookmarks" very cool. Instructions here.
